  Why can’t I access Restoration fx in Audition 3?

  I’m trying to clean up some audio for a project I’m working on. I’ve exported just the audio portion from Premiere as a wav file and opened it in Audition 3.0 with no problem. I highlight the beginning of the clip that has just the unwanted noise and hit alt+n to make a sound profile. When I highlight the entire clip to apply a restoration effect all of them are greyed out. What am I doing wrong? Why won’t it let me apply these fx?
