Why can I not import my Davinci XML export back into Premiere Pro. Any advice much appreciated.
Hi all,
I have been using CC for many years to find the answers to my tech problems and finally I have had had to write a post because I just can’t crack this one.
I have edited my project in Premiere Pro CC and exported an XML (without effects, completely plain).
I have then successfully imported that XML into Resolve 11 Lite and graded the clips.
Then once in the Deliver window I select ‘Final Cut Pro XML Round Trip’ and render an XML file out (along with the graded clips).
Here’s the issue…
Back in PP CC I select import XML and receive this message
‘this project contained a sequence that could not be opened no sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type’.
I am at a loss, i’m searched the web, watched online videos, what does this mean?! What do I need to do!….I need the CC to help me out with this!

Many thanks for getting back to me with this, unfortunately i’m not sure how this can be the issue as I do have the full version :/

You have to read what matthieu Mailhé wrote about this. Or try to log out and then log in in your adobe CBC account
