May 23, 2020 at 7:00 pmCheck your audio source in OBS. It sounds like you have a microphone input rather than the audio source you intended. If you are trying to capture system sound, you might be catching it at a low volume from a built-in microphone that is picking up the speakers. When you normalize a flat line audio signal, it will boost it, but could be adding a lot of noise and distortion you do not want. If you use bluetooth audio sources, these can sometimes change the OBS settings depending on whether they are connected at the time OBS starts up.
