Why are my FLV’s so big?
I’m editing HDV 1080 footage and converting to flv for the web.
I feel like my files are too messy for how big they are.For example I’ve got a 8 min. flv file
Video: On2VP6 155kb/s
420 x 236 (that is the size of the flash player the web guy built)
Audio: 64kb/s mono (the audio seems to sound fine)
File size: 22MBThe file can be seen here: https://www.minnesotashubert.org/hiphop/36.html -it’s the 3rd video on the page called “Final Battle”
Workflow:
Edit in HDV 1080 FCP sequence
Export Uncompressed 10bit 1080 file (which looks fantastic by the way)
Encode to above FLV settings with Adobe Flash Media Converter.Am I missing something here or do I have unrealistic expectations?Does anyone else think that an 8 min 22MB FLV file should look that messy?
