    Hi.

I have this strange problem on the output of my Decklink SP card. Whether I’m using the analogue composite output (only the y wire) or all three in composite mode… There are strange horizontal black lines tearing off to the right all over the screen. It looks to me like the white is too hot for the monitor because all of the little black lines originate from hot areas of the video image. It only happens when I’m playing back, not when paused. I’ve changed monitors three times with no improvement. The video is playing back off of a firewire drive. But I haven;t had problems doing that before.

This problem only happens in DV, when I playback any other kind of material, from JPEG to Uncompressed 4:2:2, I have no issues at all. Last detail: The media was not captured on my system… but imported from another earlier version of FCP.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

    Thank you!

Sunds to me like your monitor has a pass-through and is not terminated

Maybe but I don’t think so. The termination is turned on on the two monitors i tested. The television I tried did the same thing… So i think it’s something about the signal… Strange.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Kai
