  • White Frame Issue When Timeline Is Stopped

Posted by Justin Puda on October 16, 2008 at 9:52 pm

I am getting a white frame in the Canvas/Timeline window when the the sequence is stopped. I’ve tried resetting FCP, starting a new project, it seems that regardless of my sequence settings I can’t view any of the video frame by frame, but I can see the video when it is playing. Anybody have any suggestions? Nothing I have tried seems to work.

What do you mean by reset? Did you trash your preferences? It sounds as if the canvas is set to display the alpha channel.

    All the best,

That was it. Thanks so much. Is there a keystroke shortcut to change the viewer from RGB to Alpha? I never changed it from RGB, must have been an accident.

    Not by default.
