  White Flaming Text

  I’m working on a white on black title graphic that closes out a trailer. In it’s regular state, the title looks like Greek chiseled stone letters. For the animation, the title scales from huge, seeing only a portion of one of the letters, down to normal title size. The letters in the title, from the beginning of the animation, act as a brilliant light source that shoots flickering light rays as it comes into view. As the animation comes to the normal title graphic the letters slowly come to their normal graphic look.

  The text fades in from a white dissolve that washes out all color from the previous shot.

  Any tips on how to make this look super awesome? What effects should I be playing with to make this happen best?
