white “cue mark/dot” for old film look
Hi, there
am making a short film and want to make it look like an old film. Am going to use the advice posted here about scratches/ sepia tones etc but was wondering if there was any way to be able to recreate that old ‘cue mark’, or cigarette burn that appears in films, a white dot in the top right hand corner.
any thoughts? thanks in advance.

In Motion, make a white circle on black. Bring that in to FCP and matte that in for a couple of frames.

Or use the shape gen in FCP, there is a circle.
