  Whiffed like smoke or powder

  I’m looking to create an effect where some text is whiffed away like smoke or blowing on some baby powder.

  This effect is prevalent on the Sci Fi channel. After a Sci Fi promo, they pop up their purple logo and then it whiffs away like sand being blown. Very cool. Very organic.

  Any ideas or tricks on how to create this in After Effects (with limited or no plug ins)?
