Which Version of clips to edit with when AMA linking?

Ok. Thank for being clear – this is what I had in mind. I think the system is 5.5.

The project is DV25 and the clips are HD do I have to deal with that but I think I can just move the bins from the initial HD project into the Sd project.

Go to the Format Tab of your project window and change the project from HD to SD. No need to make a new project and copy bins.

Oh. And then just. Change it back to SD?

Ithe SD is actually 4:3 with an in camera letterbox, so hat HD footage should fit in the frame.
