  • Which Template to Render 24P Widescreen?

Hi all – still learning about this stuff …

I have an HD project shoot – My vegas project settings, pulled from the media, are HD 1080-24p (1920×1080, 23.976 fps) – I now want to render out for DVDA to go to a Widescreen DVD format.

My questions is this, Do I use the DVD Architect NTSC DV Widescreen video stream render template or do I use the one with the pulldown in it – DVD Architect 24p NTSC DV Widescreen video stream ? I’ve tried both and don’t see any obvious differences on resulting DVDs. I’d like to undersand this, so any help and an explanation would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    KenM

Use the DVD Architect 24p NTSC DV Widescreen video stream template. This will keep your output progressive. The other template will introduce interlacing.
