    Hey guys,

I’m currently editing some 7D footage on FCP 7 as Apple Prores LT.

I want to attempt to create a titles package.

I am interested to know how the following results would be achieved…

(Please view from 0:25 to 0:40)

What software package would you recommend to do this?

I also like the flame/distorted tv transitions they use.
    Are they a recognized plugin?

    Many thanks

Probably Boris Continuum with a host application (After Effects, FCP, Motion, etc.) is the easiest fit.

The Distorted TV Footage is available as a video filter in FCP6 (so it should be available in FCP7 as well)

Give it a shot , it might suit your needs.

I only watched a little bit but you’d be best suited using After Effects or Motion. Also, some compositing packages like those found at Digital Juice or Videocopilot.net will go a long way to give it some depth.

    Good Luck!

i think videocopilot have an AE plug-in called Twitch – that does this kind of effect. I also think Andrew Kramer did a tutorial showing how to get a very similar look.

Autodesk…. Flint, Flame, Maya, Mudbox, Combustion…. help us out here 🙂

Personally, I would use After Efffects and Cinema 4D for this.
