    I’m trying all different rendering formats to try and save a project I did in school to be able to play on a DVD Player , i’ve trieed all different ones but nothing is working. pls help

    You need to save it as MPg2 (the language of DVDs). Use the main Concept Preset whic will render just the video. Then render the audio as AC3. They should both go into the same folder. If you are using Arch. then add the video file and the audio file will follow automatically.

    Tried all that and it still won’t play on my DVD player , I’m using DVD-R discs if that means anything.

    Is the DVD player compatible with burned discs? Does it require -r only? Does it require +r only?

    Look it up in the compatibility charts.
