Do you know what color green is best to use? I have used floresent green posterboard for the last chroma key project that I did but have now found a poster board that is closer to a regular green. Is it better to use one than the other? The foloresent color seems like it easier to key out but it also seems to reflect the light.

    Thanks

Poster board is a poor choice of material because it’s shiny.
You want a dull surface for chroma key work.
BTW, the more intense the green, the easier it is to key.

by intense would you think the floresent then is better or the regular green?

    Thanks

    Definitely the florescent.

Thanks, I would actaully preffer to use a cloth instead of the cardbaord paper but I need to look around to see if it is affordable. As of now the posterboard is around 75 cents for about a 3 x 2 piece. I am not sure that I can find material for that price. Thanks again for all the help.

Poster board is cheaper but you have the glare/reflection issue to deal with.
If you have a fabric store in your area, see what they have available.
If not, https://www.eefx.com has a range of reasonably priced products.
The advantage of fabric is that it can be used repeatedly which, in the long run, will be cheaper.

Painting posterboard flat green, or even a wall will work. Depending on how bit of a scene you need. I use a green Muslin. Here’s a link for an inexpensive one.
