    I’ve got a G5 dual 2Ghz with 4mb ram and Radeon 9600 graphics card, I mainly use FCP, Motion and Combustion 3, how would upgrading the graphics card improve performance, and which one should I get (budget is no more than

    I’d be looking at the ATI X800 card… doesn’t take up an extra slot and is the fastest out there pretty much… should fall into your budget too.

    Just installed the ATI X800xt and it’s very very fast with Final Cut Pro 5.0 / Tiger.
