  • Which frame rate do i shoot footage for USA and UK press delivery?

    Hello

We are shooting some interviews and B-Roll for a project that will be used by the press in both the UK and the USA.

Which frame rate would you ideally shoot at, given that delivery crosses ‘frame rate boarders?’
We will be shooting and delivering in XDCAM HD 4:2:2

We will also be using stock/archive footage – which will probably be different frame rates, formats and frame sizes. Whats your advice on upscaling/converting this for inclusion.

    Thanks

Shooting…23.98. It converts easily to 25fps PAL.

Converting the footage to 23.98? Adobe Premiere does a great job, as does Compressor. After Effects too…
