I normally use the AJA IoHD 720p 59.94 Apple ProRes 422, but here lately I’m getting lots of slow downs and I have to wait a few seconds for the machine to catch up to me, very annoying.

I use P2 cards and the footage comes in as DVCPRO HD 720p60.

I tried the AJA IoHD 720p 59.94 Apple ProRes to DVCProHD set up today, and that seems worse.

What does it mean when an easy setup says “to DVCProHD”?

I’m working under the assumption that since the AJA IoHD was built for ProRes, that was the best setup for me. Since my footage is DVCProHD, should I be using that?

ProRes timeline that matches your frame size and frame rate.
