Which countries are ‘allowed’ to attend NAB
Since we are about 2 months away, and this is the time one makes bookings, I’m wondering how many countries will not be able to make it this year due to travel restrictions.
I’m from India, and at the point of making an airline booking we see a warning that travel to the US from India is restricted to US citizens at the moment.
I might, of course, be able to go ahead and make a booking with the hope that by NAB time, the restrictions may be lifted. But if they’re not, I’ll be stuck with a non-refundable ticket.
Anyone else with this experience?

I’m in Canada and have the same issue.
If you need to book, get some kind of cancellation insurance.
I might wait till next year 🙁

There’s less reason every year to attend NAB in person, unless you’re going there specifically to make a purchase of something very high-end and really REALLY need the hands-on time with it, and there’s no other way to get it. The manufacturers all have web sites and sales engineers for one on one contact by phone or whatever.

I was considering IBC in early December. I could run into the same issues.
