  Which codec am I missing in this mp4?

  Hi all.

  I am trying to re-edit some .mp4’s which my 2014 Mac (10.9.5) refuses to open in Premiere CC and Quicktime 10.3

  They play in VLC (doesn’t everything!) but I can’t recompress with MPEG Streamclip, and Flip4Mac couldn’t read them. I’m pretty sure they came from a Windows’ based editor’s setup.

  (EDIT) I’m pretty sure it’s ms-mpeg4v2-macosx.sit I’m looking for – some older Windows codec, but any links to it on the web are dead (/EDIT)

  (EDIT2)I may have been on the wrong path above with that codec, since the other editor uses Media Encoder with the same settings as me, but on Windows. I think they have corrupted somewhere in transit, or my machine is crazy… Am uploading a sample file, if anyone loves this kind of mystery, msg me (if you can on creativecow?) (/EDIT2)

  I’d rather find the codec if I can so I can import them to Premiere…
