    Hi,
We want to buy a new second camera for the 3rd season of a tv show we produce. Right now we use a Cinealta PDW-F330, and we want a second camera, but we need a small camera, something of the size of the Xdcam EX (or semi-shoulder). I really dont know if the Xdcam EX is the best choice, or if Panasonic or JVC have a better option.
Can anyone give me an advice?

    Thank You

IMHO, if you are already shooting in XDCAM HD and have the workflow nailed then I would stick to XDCAM and go with the EX1/3 They are great cameras, fantastic pictures and work within your current workflow. I don’t want to start a “which camera is better” war, but in our reality series, they contracted with 3 shooters, two with EX cams and one with a HVX200 and I can tell you from 100’s of hours of experience editing these two cam formats together, the HVX cant touch the EX cams in low/available light and general image quality.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,

We are very fond of the Cannon BU-45H!
It is a small compact camera, that has 20:1 zoom lens.

Sufficient ability to zoom-in for close-ups.
it provides dramatic HD shots & wide angles.
There is a video of it at https://www.ptz-broadcast-cameras.com.
