Which BMD Card??
I am spec’ing a new MacPro system. I am upgrading my workflow to handle HD in the future. I also will be placing a 32 – 37″ Sony LCD above the dual 23″ Apple Studio Displays. I have spec’d an NVidia GForce 8800 GT graphics card 512Mb and 8Gb system RAM. The workflow will mostly be Panny HVX 200A/HPX170. Will the BMD DeckLink HD Extreme be a good choice? Or should I be looking at another card? I want to run HDMI to the Sony LCD monitor as well. Thanks.

The new BMD Decklink HD Extreme which holds connection for HDMI as well as SDI, component/composite should do. I’m happy with mine (without HDMI) except problems with the newest drivers – currently running v6.6.5.. 🙂
