Where’s the Timecode Generator?
Posted by Wally Tham on May 26, 2005 at 6:50 amHello all,
I’m trying to super a timecode of a drama using PPro, render it and send out the rushes on DVD.
Is there such a filter in PPro?Thanks,
Wally

May 26, 2005 at 8:41 amThere is at last a really neat solution to this long-running problem. See https://dve.teletex.ru/en/dvrecdate.shtml
I’ve tried it and bought it. Excellent !

May 26, 2005 at 11:11 amIt’s worth mentioning that the Matrox RTX100 has a timecode generator plugin as well, for future reference…

May 28, 2005 at 5:59 pmI downloaded and installed the demo Timecode plug-in in P.Pro 1.5, but could not find it anywhere in my video effects folder. Where and how do I access this effect? Thanks in advance!

May 28, 2005 at 9:13 pmIf you have installed DVdate correctly, then it will appear if you start typing DVdate in the search box at the top of the video effects window.
The plugin needs to go in the Plug-Ins/en_US/ folder in Premiere Pro 1.5. After installation, a folder called DVdate is created in this target folder. If the installation target was wrong, then simply move this DVdate folder into the proper place and then restart Premiere Pro.
Copy your registration file to this same folder to unlock after purchase.
