Where’s my blending effects?
They seem to have disappeared! I used to be able to double click a layer and a blending effects and options window would appear. Now, if I double click a layer, or even select blending options from the drop-down, I am unable to use any other tool untill I have hit the return key. No options window appears, so I am unable to change bevelled edge size, shadow size etc….please help. I’m using photoshop 7 by the way.

I think the window of the layer style might be set somewhere off your screen. Try resetting your workspace (palette locations and such) to default.
