  • Where to keep PSD ?

    Hello

In witch folder do you put .PSD when you just have created a project.ncor and you just want to import PSD as menu ?

I mean, I have created one and then put and kept in my general folder the very first PSD that I have imported.
Can I delete them now ? I have made many changes since the beginning of the work

    thank you

When you import a PSD as a menu, Encore creates a duplicate of it and puts it into the project folderSourcesMenus folder.

From then on, this duplicate file is the PSD you are working in in Encore and when you edit the menu in Photoshop.

The original PSD is never modified. When you import the .psd into Encore as a menu, a copy of it is generated in the /sources/menus/ folder. Any changes you make to it once it has been imported into encore are made to the copy.

    Thank you Joe and Jon,

I needed to be sure; so I am ! I’m gonna delete the very first PSD.

Maybe I will need to get some new of them in USB to show its to a friend, so what is the simpliest way to get the last one ?
For me it’s a mess in the /sources/menus/ folder! Even with the date !

So I suppose the best I have to do is to jump from Encore to Photoshop and from there to save as to the USB

You are correct. Do a Save As from Photoshop

You can also export the menu from Encore as a PSD – look in the “Menu” menu. 🙂
