Where to Install Avis MC for training?
Gearing up to download Avid MediaComposer Ultimate (already paid the license).
Question, for training purposes, whether I should put it on my 5-year-old I9-9880H Laptop (with 64GB RAM, NVidia RTX running on Windows 10)?
Or Mac Mini M1 with 16GB Ram?
Whilst I am re-training on it, after 15-years of absence…
Should add, that I am doubtful that either of those options above, will be on the Avid approved list.
But as I want to use it for learning, rather than in anger, I remain an optimist. 😀Thank you.

Hi Mads – I would use the Mac Mini, you should be fine (for some training) – I used it a lot on a Macbook M1, and it worked well.
