Where to get cheesy 2D effects for use with text?
I’m looking for Powerpoint-style text effects – where the text spins into place, bounces, zooms close then shrinks down to size, etc.
I don’t want wipes, ‘organic’, or 3D transitions – which seem to be the only kind I can find. I just want some cheesy 90s effects for a light
comical feel.I’ve tried BCC and Spicemaster, and they’re just not the effects I’m after.
Any ideas? I didn’t think it would be this hard.

The ProType Titler that comes with Vegas Pro does all of that stuff. Check out the collections that come with it.

Thanks for your suggestions. Track Motion doesn’t really help as I want to avoid using a hundred keyframes.
I’ve never really played with Protype Titler. It looks like it only has 9 effects presets. Is there a collection of additional presets somewhere?

No, it only comes with 9 and you can make as many as you want and save them as new collections.
