Is there anyone who know where the Rumble-filter (from Soundbooth) is hidden in the new Audition Cs6. It seems that Adobe made a fusion of Soundbooth and Audition Cs2. It was wise to do that 🙂 But I miss the nice clean-up filter “Rumble” I used alot when using Soundbooth. This filter was nice to remove microphone wind-rumble from video-recordings. The cool idea is to show the sound as a graph and then heal part of the sound. Why did Adobe remove the rumble-filter? Is there a similar filter in Audition Cs6? I tried to remove the 60 hz in the EQ. It destroys everything.

I dont’ think there is a Rumble filter in the sense of a labeled preset. You would most likely do this in the EQ section:

Or use a sample of your rumble (noise floor), then remove that from the clip – a very easy process. Here are some useful charts of audio sound frequency, in case you don’t already have one:

The Mic-Rumble filter is located under

EFFECTS -> FILTER AND EQ -> FFT Filter -> Kill the Mic Rumble

    Hope that helps.

    Bit late responding, but…

I’m interested in using Audition CS6 to remove turntable rumble, which is a low-frequency artifact of turntable motors. The “rumble” filter used in Soundbooth was for that. I’m not sure what “Mic-Rumble” is supposed to mean.
