I am troubleshooting an issue with a plugin. I was told to do some things that would write some diagnostic info to the log. Can anybody tell me where this log is? I assume it’s somewhere in the user/library but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks.

[Ed McCarthy] “Can anybody tell me where this log is?”

Find and open the “Console” app. Then look for “Final Cut Pro” in the “Diagnostic and Usage Information” section. You’ll likely find it under the User Diagnostic Reports or System Diagnostic Reports sub-headings. Possibly both.
