This may be really really simple, but I haven’t been able to get an answer from Adobe Help. I’m making a Color Matte. I want it to be a specific color to match an object in a video clip. When Premiere Pro opens up the Color Picker window for me to assign a color to the Matte, there is no eyedropper or magnifying glass icon for me to pick a color from the Source, Program or any other window. Does this function not exist?

The easiest workaround is to create a new empty title, in which you can use the eyedrop tool to choose a background. Technically it is not a color matte but the effect is the same. You can crop it and manipulate it just like a matte.

Great workaround, but I gotta say that’s fully retarded. Like 100%. Is Adobe hiring full retards to design their software? I’ve thought so for years.

Has anyone got a list of these improvements we need for Adobe Premiere so that we can sit down with the software designers and correct them one by one. That is what my director makes me do!

Have they ever tried using their software?

Do they pay for the subscription updates?

    Thanks for the work around.

so retarded… ‘100%’ made me laugh! I was trying to match coloured frame frame with 96.6666% Hue and then it renders out a completely different shade.
