Where is my second graphics card (Dual D700)?
Have a lot of FCPX crashes lately, and sometimes the Mac switches off completely. A pop up tells me that the crash is caused by the graphics card. I was checking my graphics card, but in ‘About This Mac’ menu it only shows one card, I thought, was this always the case? Then I checked ‘System Report’ videocards/display. It only shows one D700 card. This is strange, isn’t it? How can I check if the second card is still working, is it allready out of business? I installed iStat Menu, and it shows only one card.. I know that in the past it was showing 2 cards…

If you’re only seeing one card in System Information app (System Report), you’ve got a dead card. Nothing to check, except prices on a replacement.
