I created some Easy Setups and in the process created a few extras that I don’t need. I just can’t seem to get rid of them.

I went to Library–>AppSupport–>FCP Sys Support–>Custom Settings and cleaned it out (except for the ones I wanted, but all these other easy setups keep coming back!

I have a Kone Le Card so I have all the Apple setups and all the Kona setups and there’s just too many of them.

    Where else are they hiding?

I have found them in the preferences.

problem is you have to trash preferences to get rid of them.

if you do a trash and restore with fcp rescue, it puts the
    unwanted setups back.

I wish there was a way to pinpoint them in the preferences
file and remove them from there.

    anyone?

You can’t. They are embedded in the preferences file and the only way to rid your self of unwanted Easy Setups is to trash the Prefs (which gets rid of all of them) and then recreate the ones you do want. (Call it what you will, but its a bug by any other name).
