    Hi,

I was working on some exercise footage for a work project. I went and spun the image around so you could view it correctly (some footage was shot with the Cam off set on a 90 deg angle to have a vertical letter box frame). I hope that makes sense.

Well I spun it around.. I needed to apply mattes to all my work. I couldn’t do it correctly as the points on the screen when I went to apply the matte were all out of whack with the image. This is when I realised a should have done the matte first.

Can anyone please point me in the direction of a good and logical information on “workflow”. So I can avoid this kind of time consuming mistakes.

Thanks again.. sorry for all the questions.

    Regards,
    Nathan

Vertical footage isn’t very common, and you’ve worked out how to deal with it, so I’d suggest you’ve answered your own question.

Might help you to take some training courses at a certified training center if you’re wanting more. The books on the subject are quite good. Apple Pro Training series…
