Where can I find a twixtor tutorial?
Posted by Christian Nor on January 30, 2007 at 11:43 pmI’m looking for a twixtor video tutorial.
I have heard that twixtor Is a great plug inn to slow down DV material. So I wanted to check it out. I have downloaded the demo, but looking for a video tutorial for slowing down my DV shoots.
After tried to google for a tutorial the same page has been coming up: https://www.revisionfx.com/rstwixtortutorials.htm
But the page can not be found.I’m using FCP 5.1.2 and it would be great to find a tutorial the uses FCP but After Effects is also ok.
So is there somebody that can help me out?

January 31, 2007 at 2:00 amThey did a complete make-over of the website
recently, so maybe the files/pages you’re looking
for are buried somewhere. Each installer comes with a basic manual.
Also, ask about the large (200MB+) html tutorial package
that has host-specific notes (e.g. FCP, AE….)-Shin

July 9, 2007 at 7:38 pmWhen you get to the support page for Twixtor, click on the “After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and Combustion” blue bar towards the bottom of the page.
Or you can go directly here: https://www.revisionfx.com/products/twixtor/support/#After%20Effects,%20Premiere%20Pro,%20Final%20Cut%20Pro,%20and%20Combustion
Make sure to scroll down if your browser has a small window open.

September 10, 2008 at 2:32 pmHi there. I was looking for txixtor tutorials too and I have followed the link to the revisionfx.com website as you suggested. When I went to download the zip file though, all I could find were various videoclips and pictures – mostly of skateboarders – but no tutorials. Am I missing something? thanks

September 11, 2008 at 7:14 pmWHen you unzipped the file,. did you click on the StartHere.html file in the top-level directory? The main page gives you and introduction to Twixtor, which you should absolutely read. The “start” page explains where everything is located.
Then click on the “Introduction” button after reading the “Start” page. Then, after that, click on one of the four buttons for After Effects, Premiere Pro, combustion or Final Cut Pro.
(Basically, In the ProjectsAndMovies subdirectory, with all the movies are also some project files:
for AE they are located in the AETwixtorProjects.sit (for Mac, you’ll need Stuffit Expander to expand the package of AE projects) or in AETwixtorProjects.zip (for Win) There are also CombustionWorspaces (.sit and .zip), FCPTwixtor project files (one for using the AE-compatible version of Twixtor in FCP, Intel, one for using the AE-compatible version of Twixtor in FCP on PPC Mac, and one using the FxPlug version of Twixtor), and there are similar Premiere Pro files.)After you unstuff or unzip the appropriate files, you will have projects that allow you to work with the tutorials as a walkthrough guide.

April 19, 2009 at 2:26 pmHello,
Long time lurker and first time poster. I’ve been educating myself on FCS over the past few months and learning all that you can do with this wonderful software. I’ve found that the variable speed choices are limited however and am interested in seeing what Twixtor has to offer. I have downloaded the demo version and am stuck at the point of not being able to find the tutorials, like the gentlemen above. I’ve navigated through all the pages on the website and tried the links above, but so far without any success. Please help!!
Thanks
Tom
