From time to time I have to make a restoration of my Windows and Programs partitions to fix various problems. After such restoration, when I reload a CS4 project I can observe that Premiere has to reindex the rushs used by this project (a yellow indexing progress bar in the screen lower right corner). This is a time consuming process that I can probably avoid if I can copy the index files before I start the restoration and paste them in the appropriate directory when the restoration is completed. Can someone be kind enough to let me know which directory is used by Premiere to store the index files? Thank you in advance.

Your indexes should be in your cache folder. Look under preferences/media and you should see the locations listed there.
