    Hi,

I am editing a stand up comedy performance and we have four audio tracks, comprised of the main direct mic track and three capturing the audience.

But even in less complex audio scenarios, with just two tracks, I will edit the audio and syn the tracks one on top of the other until it sounds perfect, but when I export it sounds out of syn.

I then have to move the tracks in my timeline until they are out of sync so when I export they sound synced, is there something I should do to audio tracks to avoid this?

I thought conforming would solve this?

    Any advice? Thank you!

How were they recorded? Different equipment, framerates, sample size, etc. can cause a drift over time. The only solution would be to cut and realign the track regularly. Are those all 16bit/48k files?

If they are synced all the way through in the timeline, it may be worth looking at your export settings.

They were all recorded via capture through a capture station with the corresponding video, except for the lead mic track that was 16 bit 44100, the rest are 16 bit 48000

but conforming is supposed to get rid of any errors right? in terms of audio not being in the right format?

nonetheless I have tried exporting in 44100 and 48000 and no difference…
