Basically I have a scene where I want to isolate a color and not want that color to change, but I want to be able to change the rest of the picture, around the color I have isolated. I tried using the plug in ‘leave color’, but I cannot color the rest of the picture around the color that was left.

Is it possible to do somehow?

I see what you mean ☺

Is there a way to separate the skin color, so I can separate the background and color it separately to whatever I want, without effecting the skin color of the actors?

The secondary color correction options in Premiere are pretty crappy to be honest. You could this and much more in Resolve.
