Sure, whatever gets you through the day. My Avid is for working, billing clients etc and must be stable for that purpose. Mail? my iphone can do that.

btw… how is it Avid’s fault if you bought their software for a non-qualified system? YOU should have researched it first. I hope they DO charge you.

Errr… no you didn’t as you paid more than the RRP. Meaning you would have paid less to buy it from a reputable dealer, rather than some guy on Craigslist. Avid’s only cost silly money if you buy a computer, software and hardware package.

I have a problem with the nesting of BCC AVX Effects with MC 5.5.3. I have been advised to roll back to MC 5.5.2, but that version won’t work with Lion. I believe this is a known issue. Are you able to confirm that Avid are working on a “fix” ?
