I have just finished a 30 hour project that i am WAY behind on and when I go to export it clears a bunch of the white icons next to the eye to the left of the track sequences.

Icons removed = Display Style, Show Keyframes…Toggle, Eye and Speaker stay but MEDIA ENCODER WON’T OPEN and everything locks up unless I hit escape.

Is this another Adobe glitch or did I change some setting? Looks like no rendering tonight unfortunately.

    Thanks.

Restart your workstation and open AME without opening PPro.

Open your PPro project in AME and select the sequence you want to export.

    Does that work?

    Cheers

So far so good Eddie. No more 5am work nights, I promise. I guess instill have to find out why it won’t export.

    I’ll check these tips.

Thank you very much. Anybody know why this happens?

    Best, Todd

[Todd Roush] “I guess instill have to find out why it won’t export.”

Absolutely. The tip I gave was to hopefully provide you with a temporary work around.

Knowing the information in the link I provided will go a long way to helping us help you figure out the root cause.

    Cheers

Wow, looks like I’m going to lose another day or two troubleshooting Premiere again by the looks of that link.

Thanks Eddie. New Rule: Don’t update Adobe Products until they’re ready to release 2 versions ahead. This is why I used 6.5 until a year ago. What a fantastically reliable product that was!

I see an Apple in my future….people must have a lot more time on their hands than I do, I’ll have to work on that.

    Thanks again.
