When i add a colour grade effect to my footage it looks fine until i render.
Hi all Im hoping someone can help me out here. I seem to be having a massive problem with premiere CC. This is the second project in a row that this has happened to. I’ve done a colour grade using a mixture of magic bullet looks and Film convert pro. Now everything looks great just how i want it to, but the red line is above my footage. So i render this out so i can have an uninterrupted playback. Once the render has finished the video that is playing looks nothing like it did before i rendered. Its all blocky and looks like a badly compressed video.
But if i don’t render the video in the timeline and just export it it seems to look ok even with the colour grade effects.
Please help as im at a loss with this. Im still running premiere 7.1 as the 7.2 update had issues with my canon mxf files.Im told its fixed but i updated the other week only to find it hasn’t.
Anyhow this has only just started to happen and i don’t understand why. My machine is powerful the specs are
64Gb of Ram
3TB raid drive
Nvida GTX 680 card
and a hex core system.Does anyone know why this is happening? I should also point out that after i have rendered the video on the timeline and it looks bad, i remove the effect and the video removes the colour grade but it still looks bad.
Please someone help, is this down to my video previews or something
