Posted by Rory Hinds on June 18, 2007 at 7:59 pmCome on guys whats up with BM these days?
Release a driver that doesn’t work then get feedback and we hear nothing…
Is the cow no longer your user forum? Should we be somethere else?

June 19, 2007 at 2:25 amI was thinking that lately as well, but if you email support you will get a response within 24 hrs.
I know they know the audio settings are wrong (no audio on uncompressed capture) and that somebody accidentally set the prores hq capture preset for 8-bit and not 10-bit, but regardless of that, they should correct it immediately and re-issue the driver download for those less technically oriented editors out there.

June 19, 2007 at 9:30 am24 hrs my @rse! I sent an email query back in April and just had 2 responses since then saying “haven’t got round to it” after repeated nagging. Sent my last one 5 days ago – NOTHING.
What’s wrong with this new driver then? And which one is it? I’ve just downloaded 6.1.2 for Windows, but shying away from installing until I’ve got enough downtime to make sure it’s not screwy. Any heads ups?

June 21, 2007 at 6:20 amI’ve had similar probs. The Multibridge Pro is the first blackmagic product I’ve had about 4 months have passed now and i’m still trying to get answers and fixes to problems with drivers and BM codec not being recognized by other software. Communication is a bit lax which is frustrating when your trying to push jobs through and keep hounding BM about issues at the same time.
