March 14, 2009 at 10:40 pm[Brydie Sheen] “goodluck anyone moving from sd to hd (canon xha1)!!!
“This is just not a difficult process if you take the time to learn each step of the way. You have several post and you are all over the place, the goal is not to just try settings but to learn and then try the correct settings.
You are changing codecs field order for no reason.
NEVER use QT conversion for going from an interlaced HD to SD codec and especially going down to DV before going to m2v for a DVD. You problem need to reinstall Compressor, I got you a link on how to do that over in the DVDSP forum.
It would be better to keep your problems contained in a single thread and problem in the DVDSP forum since your issue is really how to end up with a quality DVD. (Not that people in this forum cannot give advice with this).

April 28, 2009 at 11:06 pmDoes the Z7 have the choice of 50 OR 60? We just did a whole film in HDV @50 on the V1 and now have to do a days shoot with the Z7, and in Brazil the woman said it was 1080i60. How hard will it be to adapt this when we capture, or can we find a i50 setting in the camera please?
