What’s missing from the Broadcast Edition?
I currently have C4D r11 with Mocca and the Advanced Render module and looking to upgrade to 11.5 Broadcast Edition but don’t want to sacrifice some of the modeling/rendering features just to gain some extra motion graphics dynamics capabilities. Before I take the plunge can someone point me in the direction of a comparison chart of features to help make my final decision? I’m still hesitant to go all the way up to r12 for fear that my plug-ins won’t be compatible or some of my more complex models from r11 might not render. I can see why Maxon is doing away with the module concept, but many of us are stuck in the middle, not sure when or if to make the change. Then again there’s the question of whether to go the route of an MSA.

So with Broadcast you would lose advanced render but you would gain the MoGraph module. You would not get the new Dynamics stuff that’s separate from MoDynamics.
