What would I need to do to get the same video quality as this video?
Here are some still shots of behind-the-scenes footage of a Korean commercial film. I’ve read Korean articles about how the behind-the-scenes footage is taken with a DSLR, but they never stated what kind.

What kind of lighting (other than the sunlight from the windows) and lens would I need to get the full (captures entire room) and “soft” look–for lack of a better word–from the video (there aren’t any harsh endges)? Also, what kind of DSLR would be able to replicate the same quality as the still shots and video? I have a Pentax KX right now. Here is a sample of work similar to mine:
