I can’t find this anywhere on the Blackmagic site and you have to already have the product serial number to download the configuration guide…..

Why do they try to keep information from potential customers?

At least does anyone know if 8.1 works nicely with 10.6.4

Also is there any chance an installation of Resolve lite with affect FCP7 and Color on the same machine?

    Thx

Works fine on my MacBook Pro 15″- late 2008, with 10.6.7

“Also is there any chance an installation of Resolve lite with affect FCP7”

I was told by one of the tech at Blackmagic that there was some conflict between the FCP and Resolve with the driver for the Decklink card and you can’t use Resolve without buying the Decklink card.

That is the issue I’m having right now.

the conflict is simply that Resolve will hang on to the output of the decklink -so you can’t just saw switch back and forth between fcp and resolve and have the deckling update – easy fix is to just close one app or the other.

As far as the config guide, you don’t need a serial number to download, just click “skip registration and download” at the bottom of the page. They should really move that button to the top…
