    I am looking to learn cinema 4d and was wondering what version was the best for what I need?

    I will be starting with basic 3d such as text / basic shapes / logos to be used for animating within after effects but will also be looking to progress to more complex object modeling in the future.

    Any tips greatly appreciated!

    If you are just modelling, the base is fine, but If possible I would just spring for Studio. Mograph module is where all the awesomeness is.
