  • What SSDs Compatible with Hyperdeck Shuttle?

Posted by Max Baker on October 22, 2011 at 11:49 am

Purchased the Hyperdeck Shuttle and now faced with buying compatible SSDs to go with it. The literature and BM support site only list a few named SSDs that support the bit rate, but I’m sure there are more brands/models out there that work fine with the Shuttle. What are folks using with this device? Should they be SATA-III? The literature is pretty vague on this topic, and has a disclaimer which is somewhat ominous.

    Thanks much!

Thanks Joe. I think that’s just the list posted on the Black Magic site. My point is that there is a multitude of SSDs out there, some of which reflect better value than what is listed. That’s a pretty narrow list and I’m sure there’s a larger variety of compatible SSDs. For example, I got a good deal on a 120 GB OCZ Solid 3 SSD which works great with my Shuttle. I’m interested in what’s working well for other users. But thanks for the feedback!
