what specification of computer set up for AE
Hi! All Gurus,
I am a beginner so i would like to know how do i play audio and video work together in AE. I mean which key should i press and also in laptop mac book pro.

Um the title is misleading – the title suggests you wish to know what kind of computer setup to buy/build.
But your question seems more work flow related.
For keys, 0 on numberpad for ram preview, spacebar to just play, and . on numpad to play just audio
the audio and video files go into the timeline and (hopefully) get along nice.

The new MacBook Pro computers don’t have a numeric keypad, so many of the shortcuts that we all know and count on don’t work.
You can still start a RAM preview by clicking the RAM preview button in the Preview panel.

As I understand it, if you have an iPhone, you can tie it to your MacBook Pro and use it for a numeric keypad. That way you could do it the “pressing 0 on the numeric keypad” way. However, I’m not sure about this as most of my AE experience has been on desktop PCs or Mac Pros and I do not yet have an iPhone 🙁
