What should project setting be SVP11: m2ts render out to mpeg2 and MP4
I switch to SVP11 (IT SUX!)
I shot my show in m2ts
I need to render to either DVD, MP4, or MPEG2 for TV upload.
SVP11 has lots of options and not sure which one to use for project settings.
Next I need to know what render options to use.Please respond only for SVP11 GUI. SVP10 is not the same.

DVD is MPEG2 so both of those can be generated using the MainConcept MPEG-2 encoder with one of the DVD Architect Widescreen … templates. You didn’t say if this was for NTSC or PAL so use the appropriate template for your country/region. Then render your audio as Dolby Digital AC-3 and give it the same file name (it will have a .ac3 extension instead of .mpg). This will create a video and audio stream ready to author a DVD with.
For MP4 you should use the MainConcept AVC/AAC encoder with an appropriate template for your target device (you didn’t say what that was either)
I’m not sure what you mean by “for TV upload” but if you are planning to submit this for broadcast then forget everything I said and ask the broadcaster what specifications they require because every broadcaster is different.

The broadcaster told me MPEG2 DVD, or MP4
The problem is the SVP11 project settings. There are so many to choose from.
So I burned a DVD with no problem using the burn to disk option.
Then I tried MP4, and the video does not play smooth at all. It stutters/choppy. Not smooth playing at all.
So, I would like to know is which or what Project setting/ TEMPLATE to use for M2ts for rendering to MP4.

Does the broadcaster accept HD? I assume not if they are happy with DVD MPEG2 which is SD. If they want SD, use the Internet 480p widescreen template. If they accept HD then use either the Internet HD 720p or Internet HD 1080p.
On the project, I like to keep my project the same as my source. You can use the Match Media Settings button in the project settings to do this.

I also got the 700 build update, and that seemed to have fixed some of my other headaches.
