  • What should I expect when my video will be shown through a laptop projector?

    Newbie question.
I just finished my first (real) job and they want to show it at an event on a laptop projector.
#1. Some clips came out too dark and I applied some FX to them. I would like to know how the projector (big screen) compensates for lighting. Should I expect it to be even darker on the big screen (and therefore apply more FX to brighten) or will too much brightness FX cause an awful glare?

#2. What is the best format to save the video to be shown on the platform I described. It is about 8-9 minutes long and was shot from a PAL camera, not HD.

    thanks
    Gary

So you’re going to play it in Windows Media Player or something? The best advice I can give is to do a render, test it, and then adjust as needed.
