  • What Setting for Still Images?

Posted by Jm Knowles on September 28, 2008 at 2:38 am

I am editing a piece that will be projected on a screen from a computer. It is mostly still shots that I am zooming in on.

Something has happened and when I render I get a lot of nasty scan lines. I have gone into sequence settings – quicktime and set it to none.

When I go into Audio Video settings I see a bunch of choices for sequence presets. Is it a setting here I am looking for? Which would I choose (considering the source are still images).

    Any help is appreciated!

    Well…

However you intend to play back video… make sure your settings for sequence match

i.e. if its 1024 X 768.. use that…. do not have fields… make sure motion filtering is set to best

you will have no real time playback at these custom settings though…. so you might want to build first with another square pixel preset (like pro-res square pixel.. then convert)
